SuperDickery lives!

These episodes were full of moments that played out like something out of horror movies: the hometown announcer’s quiet, frightened “uh oh” during the LaBradford Smith game; Armstrong and Horace Grant celebrating wins in Jordan’s house when we know they’re going to get wrecked as a result. (Glen Rice talked about the

To piggyback onto your findings, I’d like to suggest that Colin didn’t really “come with the house.” Who’s to say he didn’t embed himself there just as we saw him doing in his new cubicle?

There’s your spinoff: Assassins Academy, with Young Sara as the Mahoney character.

Uh Hartley, not sure how much high ground you can claim when Roderick was hurt WHILE TRYING TO COMMIT A CRIME.

Who knew Lex was a secret fan of Rock of Ages?

Holy crap, good eye!

My big takeaway from this pair of episodes was the encroachment of Jordan’s lack of introspection. He’s still apparently unwilling to consider that taking a late-night roadie to Atlantic City in the midst of a playoff series against the Knicks might be bad optics. Would he have been so forgiving if it was FUCKIN HARP

Into every generation ... Hold up, wrong show.

I think she said, “Your forearm is not curse-proof!”

And legit scary! I was actually worried for the crew at that point. Excellent exclamation point on the house sequence.

With all due respect, the group coming together to form Beebo in Season 3 is an all-timer for the whole CW slate.

You know who could have been really handy when your ship breaks and you need someone to get you into hell? Ray Palmer and Nora Darhk.

Whoa whoa whoa even on a sci-fi site you’re just talking wacky now

Soooo, anybody else get a Buffy v Glory vibe from Sarah taking on Atropos?

Kinda have to agree on the McCullochs being a dud as Big Bads thus far. I understand dialing it back from the likes of The Thinker but maybe the season would’ve been more fulfilling if it was about Barry and the crew exploring post-Crisis life with one-offs.

Using “I’m Bad” over the footage of Jordan’s 63-point assault on the Boston Garden was an inspired choice. Likewise closing the first episode with “Sirius.” I’m hoping that the music choices hold up over the course of the show.

To be fair, Tom says Pinchot and Damon Wayans are able to hang with Murphy a bit.

In the 80s, Finkel also did voiceovers that were inserted into the then-WWF’s syndicated shows telling viewers about the next house show in their area and running down the card. Maybe a small detail, but a good one in keeping younger viewers interested in their programming.
