I have to say, though, I came away feeling like this episode was a C. Two seasons and two strangely undercooked two finales in, it’s probably fair to question Chibnall’s execution as a whole as the showrunner.

Aren’t the Legends technically getting Time Bureau funding now? (I mean, not that they buy more than beers and Scoots McGoots with it).

IIRC a few seasons back there was an episode dealing with opening the place up to (paid) public tours. There was also a handwaving in the first season about Thawne!Wells securing funding by licensing patents, I think?

To be honest, I wish the writers would’ve let Alex be just a teensy bit more indignant/supportive in this whole Lena affair; why wouldn’t Kara’s sis be the one to say, “DUDE SHE’S ALWAYS BEEN AN ASSHOLE.”
