Is that the one about the fat man in an overcoat?

Aw c’mon, you can’t imagine Sheev siding up to a waitress at a cocktail bar all, “Hey baby, always there are two knowwhatimsayin?”

Even funnier that each ship has that type of gun when Starkiller literally required a whole planet to function. That tech shrunk more efficiently than cell phones.

WTF was with Finn never saying I love you to Rey? They just end in a threesome hug.

Edited for fic accuracy.

On the plus side, I’d like to think that Abrams did introduce one important new finding: SHEEV PALPATINE FUCKS. THERE’S HOPE FOR US ALL, FELLOW SINGLES.

It took the work of decades to build the Death Star. Where do these planet killing star destroyers come from?

I can go with anti-rom-com. But with a fair amount of horror baked in. My goodness that movie gave me a nightmare or two.

I wasn’t as high on this film as you, Tom, but big thanks for the list of foreign recommendations. I’ll have to track those down. And I’m especially chuffed to find you’re a fellow pro-wrestling fan! Thoughts on Nash getting another Hall of Fame nod next year?

I didn’t outright dislike Wick 3, but about halfway through I got this weird feeling like they were playing for time. I felt sad to be proven right toward the end.

In a very real way, Keanu Reeves is the Gene Kelly of shooting people in the face.

Bendis is probably chomping at the bit to write a Luke/Jessica version of Marriage Story.

I think the bet Bendis is making is that Perry probably always knew but didn’t push to expose Clark because of the greater public good, and because that relationship has deepened over the years. That’s not a bad thing for journalism, necessarily, but I don’t trust him to really address the aftermath with nuance.

There is something kinda funny-sad in the idea of Oliver Queen becoming The Spectre without Hal Jordan there to witness it.

SHUT IT DOWN, WE’RE DONE HERE

Flash-forward to the Legends episode:

Everyone: :: Gathers::
Nate: Sara you said no more crossovers! You promised!
Gary: This is SO COOL

It’s not hard to read the version we saw tonight as an endpoint for that reasoning, given the particular lines used during the confrontation with Kate.

That was seriously one of the best hours of Arrowverse TV I’ve seen in years. Using Kevin Conroy’s voice to provide a deconstruction of Frank Miller’s Batman was a seriously inspired touch.

I am solidly in the Kane-El camp after tonight. Lena can see herself out.

Like, some (not me) have complained about Lena’s dark turn this season and I get why, but I think her scenes really sum up her problem: she loves the drama. She loves to make a martyr of herself.

I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get a WHAT THE FU- from Jason as the wave hit his world. For authenticity’s sake.
