i never claimed the show was deep. it generally only explored these issues at an elementary level but those issues were always there. just because it wasnt making deep insights into the human condition doesnt mean those elements were worth removing (since they were integral to the overall experience).
if you thought Star Trek was stale you probably were never a fan of what made Star Trek, well, Star Trek. because the JJ version definitely has abandoned what made the show unique.
actually even on the PC on the highest setting level (i think its Ultra. i dont remember off hand since im not going to boot up the game for this one comment as im off to bed but its how i played through the game so i took note of stuff like this), many objects, i think balloons are one, have obvious edges like the…
well we are not talking about bosons and gluons which are words that are only defined scientifically. you are talking about old words that predate science and had meanings well before scientists came up with their own. its sort of like terms for quarks. quarks are divided into 'flavors' such as 'charm' and 'strange.'…
i wouldnt go that far especially since very few stars scientifically have names.
the sun doesnt have a scientific name so im confused as to why you are bringing up scientific accuracy. besides most people arent scientists so they dont use scientific words and terms.
Yeah, that is one really big difference. I don't care what the quality of the game is; I'm going to be less inclined to buy it if I know it's going to be tied to a single system.
pretty sure MP1 and 2 both had the same BS fetch quest at the end.
anyone else hate all this "push E for this" crap thats been in games for a little over the past generation or so? it drives me crazy. im trying to get into a good game and i get this all the time. why not simply have a prompt that pops up that says "search" or better yet just have a generic action button that is…
how on earth can you have a proto-meme? memes are inherently "proto."
actually skip season 6 too. its worse than 5.
I love how the article talks for a long time about people's beliefs, then it questions someone who is agnostic. Being agnostic says nothing about one's beliefs. It is a statement about one's knowledge instead.
i know. sorry. i just discovered this damned comment system replied to the wrong person. i couldnt edit it. i posted my reply to the other person.
damn this new comment system. it sent my reply to the wrong person.
what country do you live in? in the US its illegal for record companies to pay radio stations to play songs. its called payolla when they do so despite the law. there are a few ways around it but its still something record companies are not supposed to do under US law.
the real problem for gamers isnt how this affects the industry (well it is but thats more or less in direct). the real problem for gamers is that this means games are no longer being made for gamers, they are being made for reviewers.
dammit. it got rid of my other post.
now i cant put off buying this game any more.
