Watching the Nintendo Switch presentation is like watching an ex girlfriend who has so much potential but is totally making the same fucking mistakes over and over and you just want to shake them and tell them to stop.

You’re paying $10 for a Mario skin on a basic autorunner. Let’s be honest: they’re not breaking new ground here, but they expect you to break the (app market) bank for a half-baked app.

Take it even further: you can get Rayman Jungle Run + Fiesta Run + Rayman Adventures for under $10. All better gameplay, IMO, than the taste you get of the few free levels of Mario.

Actually, I think the Rayman runners are better than this, and they were free(at one point). Shit, Minecraft is cheaper than this. While this game is top shelf for an endless runner...it’s still an endless runner, and $10 is about $5 too much.

You all own different iPhones, so you all have to buy a different copy of Super Mario Run to play it on your personal iPhone. I don’t see what there is to get pissed off about. This is how video games have worked since the beginning.

Actually that’s exactly what it’s for. It’s expressly there so multiple people in your family don’t have to buy the same app. It being a video game doesn’t change that fact, and a hypothetical 3DS game doesn’t change it either.

itd be pretty hard to fuck up an infinite run mobile game. still this feels really “me-too” after rayman jungle and fiesta run(imho the best of the lot) and all the others with the exact same gameplay mechanics.
