Eh, it’s more complicated than that. I’m a chronic pain patient who would not be able to function without opioid medication. Opioids are a vital and life-saving tool in the medical toolbox, and we do no one any good (and many people a hell of a lot of harm) by ignoring that truth.

I don’t live in the city of Boston (which is actually quite small). I live in a suburb. The conditions in my suburb are quite similar to most of the suburbs of Boston.
