I’m colorblind and a very odd shape (6'4", 300lbs). My waist is 42", but I usually have to by pants/shorts in the 46"-48" range or else I can’t get them over my thighs. I have size 14EE feet and am flatfooted.

It’s very rare (but does exist) in the eastern half of the country.

OP was mistaken. Meridian streets (where roads change from East-to-West or North-to-South when they cross it) are rarely named “Meridian” and conversely, roads that are named “Meridian” are usually due to the TRS land-grant system rather than their properties as a “Meridian Street”.

as per my post above, this is only commonplace in the western U.S. due to the TRS system of land grants. It’s not a thing anywhere else.

You find that “grid square” set-up west of the Mississippi river because of the TRS System (Township-Range-Section) implemented when the US gov’t started handing out land to settlers. It’s very rare (but does exist) in the eastern half of the country.

I can’t speak for his policies (which are awful) or his conspiracy theories (which are just as awful), but I am like him in one way: I only poop every 2-3 days. I’ve been that way my entire life. I never thought it was abnormal until a friend of mine’s wife was like “WTF? I poop twice a day!”. I eat plenty of fibre.

I hear a dog whimper, my heart breaks; unless it’s one of those dogs that have learned to whimper in order to get something they shouldn’t have, like table scraps. Then I look at the owner like “WTF? Train better!”

I’m just as amazed that they used the original Toots and the Maytals recording of “Pressure Drop” rather than some edgy new cover of it.

I enjoyed the first half. I was excited that they brought in The Outsiders... but the Halo/Anti-Life/Granny plotline is just... agonizingly slow and bad. The episode where Batman and Ms. Martian play the Irish family plagued by Ivo’s monkeys was were it started to go really downhill (at least for me). I get that they

I thought Flula Borg was the stage name Henning Wehn uses when he’s not on British TV...

There’s an old saying around these parts: If someone has an overweight dog, that person doesn’t get enough exercise.

I like Minecraft because it’s NOT graphically nice. I mean, my main rig has dual nVidia geForce 1080TI’s running on Ubuntu (mainly for the SLI capabilities), but the first thing I do with nearly every game I get is “Video Settings —> (slider to “minimum”). I realize I am in the minority, but I could give 2 shits about

There was a State College based punk band in the mid 00's that wrote a song called “Premium Lager Beer” that was 30 seconds long in hopes of getting to be the jingle for Old German.

I have long been called “too stupid to feel pain” by a lot of my friends. I just assumed I had some sort of neuropathy. Things that cut or bruise my skin I generally don’t notice. I feel the touch/pressure and the hot/cold, but not the pain. If anything, it itches... a lot. Open wounds itch like crazy to me. I do feel

Except that was a raid. It’s at a known location. You don’t need to drive around waiting for it to randomly pop. You can go directly there without once ever looking at the phone while driving. Once you get there, pull over, turn the car off, launch the game on all 8 phones and go.

It got canned because of money. They filmed it in North Carolina because NC was giving them a tax break and subsidies (very similar to what Georgia, New York, and Pennsylvania do), however, somewhere along the line the execs at DC thought the subsidies were “per episode” and it turned out they were “per season” or

Thanks for the compliment. Your IBS is most likely (from what I’ve read on the subject) an auto-immune disorder. So is Crohn’s disease. Neither of these are an intolerance nor an allergy. Just because all allergies are auto-immune disorders, that doesn’t mean nor imply that all auto-immune issues are allergies.

I was going to post about how “I never knew I wanted Marlon Wayans to be Plastic Man until I read this” but then I read your comment and that now trumps the “I never knew I wanted this” thoughts in my brain.
