I think they believe they are deterring folks with retribution but these things keep happening.

Sorry, this is just too funny. Sony is bitching about MS potentially doing the things Sony has been doing for years. Sony regularly spends millions to make sure the non-PS versions of games (including CoD) have less features and/or content than the PS versions. Or they just pay to have the Xbox versions delayed

“Call of Duty gamers are passionate, knowledgeable, and sophisticated.”

I don’t think he was ‘making demands’. He said ‘This is how I do my voice. If this is good for you, then cool.’ Blame the producers, if anyone. Seth was just upfront about how is performance would be and they still hired him despite that warning.

“Dominating market position.” That made me chuckle. As of 2021, Sony had a 43% share of the console software market. Nintendo had 37%. MS had 20%. Activision isn’t going to double Microsoft’s market share. I’d be surprised if it increased it by more than 5%. MS will still be in third place after the acquisition. The

Mostly commenting to ungrey you, because you have a good point. But it’s not the one I’m trying to make. I’m simply stating that it’s not the catastrophe they’re making it out to be. Would I recommend it to anyone? Hell no. Absolutely not. But it’s not The Room.

Don’t know if it’s privilege, because we don’t know you like that, but preening about it in a discussion around the difficulties that young people face in the housing market is definitely douchebaggery.

Honestly with the current economy and home prices, this country will probably need to start having more inter generational homes. Other cultures don’t have any stigma about those.

Including being 38 and living with his mom. At least he has a room upstairs? But yeah, really living up to the stereotypes here.

Now before everybody jumps on here and says he looks like what you’d expect a 4Chan tough guy to look like, hear me out...

He looks exactly like I would expect a 4Chant tough guy to look like.

1. Any effect clothing has on how someone thinks is placebo at best. Uniforms exist for a lot of reasons, a lot of which are non-causative, almost none of which have to do with how the brain works, and in the rare cases they do, they’re correlated to confidence, not seriousness. There’s a reason there’s been a general

True, but just because they don’t doesn’t mean they shouldn’t.

Yep, out of all the current issues with the industry, game execs and designers not wearing enough couture is definitely pressing.
