TBH, early adopters rarely care about the premiums they pay to be first.  They have the resources to do so and aren’t looking at any value proposition.

There might also be some more general issues going on that might make sports cars a hard sell.

The other real scary thought is how many jobs in the public sector are going to be lost as city and state tax revenue dries up and new budgets need to make dramatic cuts. My wife is a civilian worker with LAFD, and she lost three people in her department to transfers and retirement before COVID. Now she does the work…

I disagree wholeheartedly without reservation on number 3. It’s harder to have more fun in a new car for under 25k. If you don’t enjoy an Abarth you have no soul and no capacity for fun.
