Yes. I live in a country where 35% of voters believe that this clown is the best president ever.

Believe it or not the first gen was designed by Giugiaro. It was good looking for an 80's econobox.

You’re right. I thought the OP was saying that we paint AF1 all the time but they did probably mean that it can be fixed. Went right over my head.

How did anyone star this? If you can write an original article detailing the history, importance and possible idiotic changing of AF1 livery then by all means please post it. I'll wait...

I believe a Chinese manufacturer will begin selling cars in the U.S. relatively soon. My money is on either Zotye or GAC though. I sat through a presentation from the Zotye folks and they are serious about cracking the market. While Vantas is going to try their luck with the online sales model Zotye is signing up

I got smoked by my girlfriend in a Hyundai Excel. Now that's embarrassing.

If Renault Sport can do it surely the mighty Toyota can get it done.

Please, please. I would do some pretty unspeakable things to get my sweaty palms on an Alpine. I might even wear a pair of skinny jeans. Like I said...unspeakable.

May I assume you’ve never driven either car? I have driven both in mixed driving and neither one has a problem keeping up with 80 mph traffic. I believe the BRZ/86 could use a little more power but “too underpowered to feel comfortable in traffic”? Not a chance. If you’re even close to middle age then you’ve probably

Toyota is not going to build a new MR2. It would be a niche model that would sell the first model year then nosedive. We’re lucky that the GT86 is being redesigned and surviving. Eight months ago it was seriously being considered for cancellation. I would be happy if we get a convertible version. Though I wouldn’t

Air Force One does not get painted “all the time”. Other heads of state usually travel on whatever plane their respective country’s flag carrier has designated or on military aircraft. POTUS has his (or hers) very own fleet. It makes a difference.

This is an excellent post that fully encapsulates both the history and significance of the Air Force One livery. I once had the amazing opportunity to see both VC-25A’s in person and they were glorious. My significant other works for DOD and I happily tag along on some official trips when I’m allowed.

I actually Bollinger has a shot. They’ve at least produced vehicles. They seem to have a good management team.

I wish that was true but it depends on the vehicle. Modern direct-injection engines are very susceptible to fuel contamination. At the very least the tank must be pulled and thoroughly decontaminated. The fuel lines also have to be addressed but that's usually not the end of the process. Fuel contamination reminds me

I seriously doubt FCA or Toyota would touch this company with a ten-foot pole. Their plan for the semis is to have a company named Fitzgerald who are known for glider kits build cutting edge hydrogen semi tractors.

Yet another brand new automaker promising the sun and the moon. Why do we give these ‘start-ups’ oxygen? This one is telling the world that they’re not only going to build hydrogen-fueled semis and pickups but they’re going to build the infrastructure too. Uh huh.

You got me. I’m old but I’m surrounded by under-25's. I sound like a teeny bopper sometimes. My kids love it. I don’t.

Rodent infestations are non-warrantable but they are usually covered by auto insurance. I call early springtime here ‘rat car season’. It usually bumps my service numbers up a point or two.

I’m not surprised your FOST is picky. I had a Focus SVT back in the day and it was super-sensitive about it’s feedstock. I mentioned U.S. Gas which is a bargain basement brand here in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

I will in this case admit the gas station owner did right by their customers. I actually found out some interesting things about gas stations from incidents like this.
