You’re right. My neighbor drives a GMC Denali and will not touch a Cadillac. He does not like the ‘showy’ Caddy image. The interesting part is he’s not alone. I see a ton of Yukon, Acadia and Sierra Denalis in my neighborhood but very few Escalades.

Thank you for your service. I mean that seriously because I know being a letter carrier is a hard and important job. Plus you folks carry a lot more packages now because of Amazon. But I am very curious: How does the LLV actually drive? I’ve imagined like an old tractor with a van body...

Great post. This reminds me of the days when GM and Toyota were actually besties. They formed a joint venture to produce small cars/trucks (NUMMI) and shared platforms for years.

Spot on. The fact that GMC survived the Great Recession carpocalypse and Saturn didn’t should tell you all that you need to know. Saturn was a revolutionary company at its inception. GM killed it like all its good things... slowly and deliberately.

Why? I am a privacy freak and I have no issue with my license plate being photographed and shared on a blog post. My plate gets photographed by private companies and the government every day that it’s on the road. When you street park in any jurisdiction your vehicle can legally be photographed. So can YOU. When I

I worked for TMS (Toyota Motor Sales USA) when they announced to the dealers that they were discontinuing the XB instead of redesigning it. Even though they were barely selling more than 15k units a year they complained like we were ditching the Camry. As everyone knows the XB was designed for young millennials but

I couldn’t agree more. I wasn’t even in the market for another car but I saw a deal that I just couldn’t walk away from. A one-owner 328i with 47k miles @ $12,000. Say whaaaat?! The carfax must be toxic...water damage...engine replaced with a hamster on a treadmill...SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG. I go check it out at the

I may have a problem... I went to a cars & coffee on Saturday and a man made me feel things. Weird things. I stopped to admire his old Alfa and then he started to talk to me. I knew nothing about Alfa Romeo but his was beautiful. He made me sit in that gorgeous interior. As things were winding down he saw me again and

I cannot wait to see this movie. We need more motorsports movies. Plus I love the Ford vs. Ferrari rivalry.

If F1 can make races more competitive and allow more teams to accrue meaningful points during the season I will be very happy. I’m not gonna hold my breath that the 2021 aero package and budget cap will contribute to either. Who am I kidding... Mercedes will win yet another championship.

Great pictures. Thank you for sharing.

I always thought the exterior styling of the Zonda was attractive but not beautiful. I think of the Zonda in the same light as the Spyker C8 Aileron: nice exterior but absolutely gorgeous interior. (That exposed linkage is automotive porn.)

“Non-skeevy people”? Uh huh...

I don't have enough stars for your comment.

I have no words... Six people killed and eight injured. The construction workers repeatedly warned the general contractor and they didn’t care. Wow.

This is why I read Jalopnik. I appreciate great industrial design and I seriously wondered who designed the freestyle. Thank you for answering that question. It is a eye-catching design.

You are 100% correct. 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. Thank you for the correction..

This just reminds me that the Pixar crew are bunch of true Jalops. I remember they used to have their very own Motorama. I know John Lasseter was a gearhead before he left the company.

I am unsurprised that the CEO of Uber did not want to criticize the actions of a major shareholder. This obvious conflict illustrates why sovereign wealth funds are a very bad idea. The Saudis have always used their vast resources to deter criticism and influence governments and corporations alike. Remember that on
