yeah, uh, look again...speedo says 55..not sure where you see 80. and im not sure about cali, but in several east coast states, the speed limit on HOV lanes is often 5-10mph faster than ‘normal’ traffic lanes.

this may have been true in the past, but my old vehicle (2006 Mazda3) was most efficient around 65-70mph. And my current vehicle (2017 WRX) is most efficient around 70-75mph.
