I couldn’t break myself away from the video - so impressive. Especially with what seems to be very little painstaking measurements and calculations - he just sort of “wings” it.

With the drive-by-wire advancements since the 90s, is there any chance we can revisit the joystick steering idea? I want to believe it might work out better this time!
This (well...something similar, since this is quite extreme) is one of my big machine-related fears. I worry that I’ll make a modification or change on my car/bike/etc. that is just enough to qualify as ‘the wrong way to do it’ and I’ll ruin the whole damn thing.

I’ve lived in the midwest my entire life and I always thought FWD was fine for the winter (besides the one winter I had a 4x4 Durango - which was a lot of fun).
