It really depends on the context within the story. For instance let’s say you have a story about a band. You’re talking about the band in a plural way, then shift to talking about the main singer.

The law specifically states that you can’t lose your coverage or be charged more if you have a pre-existing condition unless a set of certain circumstances play out. Firstly your state has to apply for and receive a waiver from the Feds for that portion of the law and there are conditions on when that waiver can be

If you look at what he’s said and the way the MacArthur Ammendment was worded its believable that he’d be surprised. He’s coming at it from the point of view that as long as your coverage doesn’t lapse your premiums can’t change based on pre-existing conditions even if your state applies for and receives a waiver.

According to Gallup, about 28% of Americans identified as Republican, same with Democrats. The rest identify as independents. Each party only really represents a small segment of the population with a lot of people who will lean one way or another depending on circumstances.

Many (probably most) republicans in congress would loooove to impeach Trump. They just can’t be seen to do it for anything their base would consider minor. Honestly though, if there’s evidence of collusion that Trump was aware of, I doubt many congressmen would have an issue putting Pence in charge.

Damned loyalists!

I thought everyone was 1/32 Cherokee as actually being 1/16 would qualify you for being able to get tribal membership?

A paddy wagon obviously.

If it makes you sleep better there’s pretty much zero chance that a Trump budget even gets looked at, let alone looked at seriously. The House and Senate have been working on a budget for the next year for a while now and it does not look like Trump’s budget. I won’t say it’s good, but it is nowhere near as bad.

Needed to do a double take and check it was the right St. Francis.

They have 2 envelopes with the winner’s card in them so that when a winner is announced it can be independently verified off stage. Incidentally that’s apparently how this whole thing happened, the presenter was handed the duplicate card for best actress rather than the best picture card.

Tom Cruise movies don’t exist if he doesn’t have a motorcycle scene and a sprinting scene.

I think you’re right. If the gun is ready to fire, there’s a bullet in the magazine, but no bullet in the chamber pulling the trigger will cycle the bullet into the chamber although no bullet was fired. As far as I know that chambered bullet can’t be fired though as the firing pin doesn’t reset. So basically he’d be

Around here it’s all retired or semi-retired people or students who want extra cash that drive. No one I’ve ridden with (and I’ve rode quite a bit) has said they’re trying to live off of driving because it’s impossible to make enough money. Even the actual cab drivers around here generally have a day job to make a

Not government mandated here, just good old fashioned greed and price setting. I’d feel worse for the Uber drivers around here if most of them weren’t just driving for extra income.

Where I live my options are “traditional” cab companies that charge ridiculous rates of $20/person (or more if you’re going more than 5 miles) or Uber which generally ends up costing $5-10/ride with up to 4 passengers. It’s a fairly simple choice to make around here which company to go with.

Uber is complete shit. It is also cheap and convenient...

Need quick money and have a vehicle that they can use. Most people don’t really get past that part of the thought process.

I’m actually hoping that less people use it to make the surge prices cheaper...

I really liked Jude Law’s character and thought a lot of his ideas were brilliant. The idea of a pope who doesn’t want to be seen in public and this become “the face of the church” is great, especially when one of his greatest temptations is pretty obviously his vanity.
