I'm "Apple faithful", but still had the same Meh reaction as you. But...I didn't expect to have any other reaction. It's an iterative release and, as such, was unlikely to have any wow factor. The iPhone as a product line is pretty devoid of wow, but then, most phones are these days - all are just a little me-too.

So as long as it isn't the Ice Truck Killer, I should be good then, right? Thanks.

But, if they cut my thumbs off, they could break into my phone, right? NOT SECURE!

I've had every iPhone naked. Never broken/cracked any of them. I've dropped a few, but have been lucky. I do own a LifeProof case for my iPhone 5, but that only goes on when I plan to take my phone into some otherwise inhospitable place (skiing/rafting/backpacking).

Apple released a fashion phone, not a budget phone. No point in loading it up with features as fashionistas rarely care about what is on the inside.

Agreed. White would have looked better, but black frames the display in a more natural way.

Others have said it. NPR. 99% of the time that I am in the car, that it what I listen to. It is only when I go on drives longer than an hour that I start listening to anything else.

Make it free with Prime membership. I imagine that they would offer an ad-supported one for free, and a cost for an ad-free one.

Another day, another super volcano. To be fair, this one dwarfs the Yellowstone one which is "only" 1530 square miles.

I totally thought you were referring to the crazy Symantec guy and couldn't understand why it made headlines...then I realized which John you meant ;-)

I used to be able to sleep through the loudest alarm. Sleeping happily until 2pm.

I may knock Google Glass, but at least it is an innovation. This, on the other hand (no pun intended), seems like it is cramming things in just for the sake of cramming things in. I don't see anything that would compel me to want this. It just doesn't seem like an innovative piece of technology to me. I like the

What qualifies for a "tiny" house? We have 790 square feet with two adults, two kids, a dog and a cat. It feels pretty tiny. I will be pleased as punch when we move in the next year or two to something more in the 1800-2400 square foot range. But...we bought this house because it made sound financial sense, and we

Funny. As a Mac user who has always had iDevices, I've never noticed much to complain about with iTunes. But then, I also like Safari. If they felt like a burden, I wouldn't use them. Fortunately, they're fine for me (most of my music at this point is cloud based anyway.

Good for you. I always think it is a bit strange when people post pics of their kids in blatantly public places.

Last photo taken was on this past Saturday. This is the from the Enchantments in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in WA. We day hiked it and the trail, after this picture, headed back into the woods and the valley. The previous ten miles had been all open country, grand granite spires, snow and mountain goats. Was

For books - 70% on Kindle Paperwhite, 25% on iPhone 5 w/Kindle app, 5% on iPad w/Kindle app.

I've been waiting to replace my now rather old plasma in hopes that Apple does release a new TV. Three things they have to do if I am going to buy it.

I think you miss out on a part of ski culture if you are listening to music on the lift. Riding a lift with a stranger and having a conversation with them is one of the few places in life you ever can have that sort of social interaction, and you can both learn and share a lot. I have met some incredible and bizarre
