One would think it is working by recognizing the edges of stitched images, and not being content aware in the way that would smooth crop plots.

I'd say BASE jumping is more extreme. Both that, and this (rope jumping) are pretty conventional. Even free diving seems at least as extreme as this.

With only 1000, you'd have just plummeted. 1001 was the magic number.

You stole my comment! ;-)

Badum-bum...ching!

I went to college about twenty minutes from CIA, and had two students from there as roommates. I picked up a number of good habits from them (like mise en place, how to make good stock, roux, and mirepoix). I miss sampling their homework, which also made me into a bit of a food snob.

You use your hands to mix because often using a spoon damages the product.

His last name was likely 'Flynn'.

Apparently the blarney stone is germier than this wall though.

That's nothing. Come to Seattle and we have a whole wall made from used, chewed gum.

Using an old weber with it's legs taken off, some styrofoam blocks for heat protection, a couple straps and an inner tube, we made a similar BBQ that we take with us whenever we go tubing. You get great looks from people. We accompany our homemade BBQ float with a Coleman cooler float - another must-have tubing

That's just because most people are ignorant self-centered bafoons who are oblivious to the world around them - too oblivious to even be called inconsiderate. Or something like that.

Not to take anything away from this - it is still badass - but 1) the wide angle of the GoPro makes the drops look far more precipitous than they actually are and 2) there seems to be a pretty well established track covered in not very much snow; as long as the steering was careful, the tires would naturally stay in

I was out in nature yesterday. It was just as, if not more, beautiful than this. And the amazing thing was just how real it felt.

Good point. I never would have actually purchased Debbie does the Three Little Dwarves. It was more of an impulse download.

Helps when work is paying for those seats. Work a job where travel isn't part of the deal and all travel is on your dime and working the system gets more difficult, it just gets harder to accumulate enough flight segments for status upgrades and getting large quantities of points becomes a bit of a game. That all

I could tolerate that for about the length of time it would take for the crew to prepare the cabin for take off. Also, is that guy like 5'4" tall?

They should have just left it the way it looked at 48 seconds in. They could fit a lot more people in there then.
