Does anyone else find it totally awesome that Olds called it Turbo-Rocket Fluid??

You would think a car that comes from a country where it rains 25 hours a day would have properly designed windshield wiper motors...

Let's be honest, the weather is doing us a favor by destroying that S-Type.

Most advanced? Uhhh. no. Other than the turbo inline four, there is nothing on this car that has not already been on other muscle cars for years. Just because it finally caught up to modern times by adding IRS does not mean it jumped to the front of the pack. The most advanced muscle car is probably the Camaro ZL1

The Isle of Man is exactly well known for its engineering prowess...

Some of the Corvettes Chevy brought to SEMA had it blacked out and it looked much better

I totally agree. Top Gear UK has gotten fairly stale and it just sort of spoils the fun now that its common knowledge that nearly everything is faked. I'm sure most of Top Gear US is scripted too, but it just seems more realistic and less ridiculous. I love the cheap car bits and Top Gear US has had a lot of good ones

Agreed. This weird mashup of car designs is one of the most hideous things I've ever laid eyes upon.

One of my worst experiences on a plane happened when the guy in front of me decided his seat wasn't reclining enough (although it was going back just as far as the seats next to it) so he repeatedly jammed his seat back numerous times until it broke and knocked my in-flight meal off of the tray table and into my lap

From the front it looks awesome... too bad the back from stolen from a civic

Great question... how weird would it be driving down the road with engine noise only coming from the one side??

This. I really don't understand why BMW didn't at least give people the option of turning it off.

Why does it matter if GM added rev-matching? If you don't want it just turn it off as it'll work just like a normal manual transmission unlike Porsche which forces rev-matching in Sport Plus mode (I believe).

Sorry for being overly pedantic but the the double clutch transmissions in M cars are made by Getrag, not ZF like the 8 speed automatics, and while those 8 speed slushboxes are surprisingly good, they have nothing to do with M cars.

The E9X series M3's had it by the end of their production run too...this is nothing new

    New Silverado SS?? Yes please.

good one... I've never heard that joke before

Because you want an SUV that will actually starts, doesn't fall apart, and does not leak (like it did on that Top Gear USA episode)

Thanks for listing four of the many reasons not to live in the rest of the world
