Sorry for being overly pedantic but the the double clutch transmissions in M cars are made by Getrag, not ZF like the 8 speed automatics, and while those 8 speed slushboxes are surprisingly good, they have nothing to do with M cars.

The E9X series M3's had it by the end of their production run too...this is nothing new

    New Silverado SS?? Yes please.

good one... I've never heard that joke before

Because you want an SUV that will actually starts, doesn't fall apart, and does not leak (like it did on that Top Gear USA episode)

Thanks for listing four of the many reasons not to live in the rest of the world

Don't forget that there's even less value in the Escalade in that it only has AWD, as opposed to its lesser Chevy/GMC brothers with proper 4WD (with a low range gearbox). Actually, I'm not sure about the Yukon but I know the Tahoe has 4WD.

I concur... I'm 6' 1" and every time the person in front of me puts their seat back it jams into my knees, leading the person to think their seat is broken and won't lean back all the way, so naturally they begin lunging back on the seat to force it to move... so I arrive at my destination with sore kneecaps and pants

Looks like the new A class got a little frisky with an Audi Allroad... it actually looks pretty damn good, I don't understand why so many people dislike it

The big problem I see with this is how people will evacuate the hyperloop in an emergency. That means that people will need a way to breathe in the limited atmosphere and there would need to be some kind of escape hatches along the route, which would need some kind of double set of doors to maintain the lower pressure

Someone needs to do this with a quad exhaust

That is seriously one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen

I agree... I've never understood people's obsession with the E-Type. It just looks weird with the curved sides. And there's something not right about how the wheels fit in the wheel wells, they are set too far back or something.

The GTR is cool and all... but this driver has WAY more balls... I mean my God this thing is putting all of the power just to rear wheels... there are flames shooting out of everywhere (you can even see some through the dash in the engine bay)... and he has to shift by yanking a bunch of huge levers... not tap some

Why is there only a passenger seat???

But that's the point of this article... the last "current" M3 was just produced. I'd certainly still classify the E90 and E92 M3's as great M cars.

Not each generation (just the e36), but that doesn't change my point. BMW is fundamentally changing what defines an M car but people are getting all up in arms about a simple name change, not that fact M cars are now different from what made them so special in the first place.

BMW has been using a similar system on its cars for a few years now. This isn't new.
