Don't forget that in a Corvette the transmission is in back, its not physically attached to the engine (besides the transaxle obviously) so the engine can be removed without removing the transmission. Also Z06's only come with manual transmissions, there's no automatic option for C6 'vettes.

no actually its not a big deal... most cars use a purely USB interface, so as long as you use a USB cable to connect to your car it won't matter what interface it uses on the iPhone end... the BMW interface they are referring to was this wacky system in some of their older cars where you had a 30 pin dock connector…
