Because he wants to stay employed.
People need to stop treating The Daily Show differently from any other.
On any other show this would be totally unacceptable.

McAdams is never given a chance to play this type so I'm not surprised she took it, but it's just awful.
if there's something good to come out of it, it's that she hopefully gets more roles of this type, but that aren't as shit.
