@Cats: Uhhhhh...Just FYI, "under God" was added in the 50's. Same for it being on money. A large portion of the founding fathers were Deist (belief in a God who started the universe then basically walked away - as close as you could be to Atheist in those days).

@pismosi: Not necessarily 1984. I read Animal Farm in high school instead.

@ThePriceofEggsinMalta: From what I've heard, it is the evolved notification bar. I think they talk about it in Giz's Honeycomb walkthrough or something like that.

Oh...my...GOD! Is that a kickstand? I think it's a kickstand. HOLY SHIT IS THAT A KICKSTAND?!

@speraider430: Not usually a Chapelle fan, but you're right, that was about 1000X better.

@diplomaticdustbin: So in this instance, I wasn't actually complaining about Apple products. I was merely correcting the OP who said that jailbreaking corrects the problems of a closed system.

Wow. I kept looking through and thinking that none of them were going to beat the lead shot, which was just amazing I feel, and then the winner pops and...wow. That's incredible. Someday I'll either turn my laundry room into a dark room (so I can develop film from my SLR) or go buy a DSLR so that I can participate in

@snitch: Yes, that is ONE aspect of a closed system. Did you notice how I listed SEVERAL problems of a closed system, and (sarcastically) stated that jailbreaking solves ALL problems (including others that I didn't list)?

@geolemon: I agree whole-heartedly. I have, over the last few years, gone from being an Apple fanboy to an Apple hater. And I think the last nail in the coffin (the first several including, but not limited to: the iPhone 3G being an ugly rehash of the original iPhone with no real new features, the iPhone 3GS being an

@snitch: Oh, right, because jailbreaking solves ALL aspects of a closed system - the lack of an open app store, the lack of diverse hardware, the lack of port flexibility, the lack of native interoperability with industry standards - the works! Right? Right? Someone tell me I'm right!

So I've spent way too much of my life inside Home Depots - to the point where I have all 4 in my area memorized (and yes they are all a little different) - and I've never heard #5 called "self-drilling." I've always heard them called "self-tapping," because they act as a tap - something that adds the outside threads

@TaitRT: That's really crazy they didn't include that one. It's the screw I've used most often in my life by far.

@HawaiiR: Actually, they open source it (read: release it to anyone who wants to download it, including hardware manufacturers, carriers, and even you) anywhere from a few days to a month from announcement.

@butaneko: Buh-nuh nuh-nuh....buuuuuh....(that's my attempt at the dying sound in GoldenEye.

@Goblin: That's Matias Duarte, the director of user experience for Android. Pretty sure he knows better than just about anyone what the UI/UX for Android phones will be.

Awesome! Social interactions is the field that I plan on doing research on hopefully starting in the fall, so psychologists having a better understanding on what's happening in the brain during such things can only help me out in the future.

@Goblin: Good Jesus, you people are so sure you in your assumptions, and don't spend 30 seconds fact checking: [www.engadget.com]

@Bizdady: This was supposed to be a response to Dr. What?, but it works for you too.
