@thenail: You are aware that Angry Birds makes $1 million PER DAY from the Android app, right?

@Dr. What?: Pretty much every interview with a Googler since Honeycomb's release has asked that question, to which Google has emphatically said, No, it will not skip phones. It's really not that hard. I've read numerous articles which state this. I'd link one for you, but it's really not that hard to find one. Yish...

Thank god it's finally going to the courts. I have a feeling all of these will eventually end up in front of the Supreme Court, and hopefully they'll do the right thing and strike them all down. Because I'd say recording police officers is part of having a free press.

Are you reporting this poorly, or was this experiment really designed this poorly? Bad, bad, bad. If it was just the college student, then fine. But his professor as well? Come on now folks, this is not how experiments should work.

@enlight10ment: So depending on what programs run in the background, it's generally actually not a problem to have them running. Unless they're constantly updating the background (a lot of apps' widgets are terrible with this), they're not using up battery life or cycles, and, while I'm not sure how it works, your RAM

@PinballFan: Have you rooted your N1? If so, try LED me know. It's a pretty nice utility for tweaking your notification light. It works for the Desire (that's what it was originally made for), so I would think it should work for the N1. Another tack would be installing CyanogenMod, as they've built in that ability

Wrestler guy you've never heard of? I would think even casual Batman fans would have heard of Bane. He was in one of the Clooney Batmans back in the 90's, ya know. He wasn't a true villain in and of himself, though, he was kind of just Poison Ivy's sidekick.

OH MY GOD PIPE DREAM! Sorry, I don't know what came over me...this just reminded me of PIPE DREAM OH MY GOD I LOVED THAT GAME! I think I need to go find that game now...

@flinx1: Satellite A665-S5184 (those last 4 numbers might be wrong). Just barely playing with it now, I really like it so far.

Laptops surprises me, I would think that now would be a great time to buy a previous (chip) generation laptop, as the new gen ones are just coming out (ie, Sandy Bridge this year). Maybe the April one is because it's a lull. It's almost the end of the school year, and no one buys a laptop for summer. But I still feel

Note to self: avoid "Lollipops".

@yogibimbi: I thought that conversation reeked of alcohol, at least.

Makes sense, as time is simply another dimension. Why would quantum particles be able to move through three, but not four dimensions? Further, I would guess that they can move through all 11 dimensions (or 27, or however many your particular brand of String or Loop Quantum Gravity Theory you subscribe to theorizes

@Yeah!: My point was simply that you're critiquing it and saying that you'd rather have 720p with good quality than have 1080p with bad quality. But if you can have both, then why bitch that you have the option of 1080p in bad quality? If you don't like it, don't use it. It's that simple.

@blyan is not on fire: True, but then he'd be awfully confused as to why Yoda was alive in the first place. Unless he was already confused by the vision Yoda was at the end of Jedi.

Agh! Don't zoom in on a camera phone, are you stupid? What do people not understand about that. You can achieve the same level of detail by cropping and enlarging in post-processing, and there you can generally do some stabilization so you don't make your audience vomit!

@Yeah!: How do you know that it isn't good quality in 720p? Have you seen a 720p clip recorded from the Optimus 2X? Just sayin'…
