@rjp is protected: It'll be rooted within a week (my prediction, not anyone else's). Cyanogen is on it, as is pretty much all of Team Douche. I don't think there's a chance that it stays locked down for long.

@YellowRex: A la Chris Soyars and Cyanogen, who bring you CyanogenMod (among others, of course) (respectively):

$299, and it doesn't even have a DVR built in? That's special…

The poll is screwy, it's not showing G2 or Galaxy S until you get to results #corrections

@aquajaws: If he was really disabled, I think he'd probably have an actual motorized wheelchair. That's a powerchair/scooter thing. The ones they advertise on the Price is Right.

@James: How fast do electrons move through a nigh-frictionless environment?

So will this mean that those of us who have extremely terrible vision (as in: I have a 2-3 inch maximum focal distance w/o corrective lenses) can have thinner glasses lenses? And would it eliminate the "Coke bottle effect" where things become distorted from the curvature of the lenses? That would make switching back

Tha's no' how yeh vwing!

@hawkeye18: I read "quite a few companies" as "every Android phone manufacturer who insists on putting some stupid-ass skin on their phones".

My only problem was trying to watch TV while eating out of that bag. It easily covered up the TV sound.

Wow. I designed a water-powered car when I was in 9th grade - water tank to electrolysis apparatus to fuel cell to exhaust pipe (to avoid having to have condenser coils) with solar panels and friction generators from braking to power the electrolysis, but it was fairly pointless, as you had to "charge" it up before

@LemonMeringueTy: Really? I'm not a hipster at all, but I think Vampire Weekend is quite good. They're one of the very few truly artistic bands around right now.

@mjt308: Or unless Joel actually has an iPhone.

@offred: I'm aware of what the word "taint" means. That doesn't mean you go around using it the names of apps, even if you are a University researcher. I'm studying to be one of those researchers (though in a different field), and if I had some sort of app to help with research, I wouldn't use the word "taint" in it,

@Chinedu Opara: I thought it was closer to 90 days to Mars?

TaintDroid? This doesn't even qualify as a company needing a meme-finder, this qualifies as companies needing a teenager on staff to tell them dirty words. Yish…

It doesn't seem to be working with Songbird. I hit the buttons, and it doesn't open iTunes, but it doesn't change/pause the track, either. Anyone else having similar problems?
