Gentlemen! I have the solution!

Wow. You just blew my mind.

Steel cut oats are a whole different animal. They're nutty and toothsome - think a nice fresh plate of scrambled eggs vs. reconstituted egg powder eggs.

LOL

Season 3 w/ the Mayor and the introduction of Faith was farking brilliant. The rest was just glimmers of light in the dark.

The wibbly one?

Exactly. See for example all but maybe three episodes of Buffy after it got the pity pick-up by UPN.

Well it's obvious at this point that people are voting Serenity just to be chuckleheads and rile up the community.

It's as if millions of voices cried out at once, and then were silenced.

OK - 10 minutes later and I can still see those disturbing little blobs in my head. I was flying through the last couple of questions just trying to get it to stop.

Forget her - why is Colossus wearing a peek-a-boo leotard?

Interesting - those of us that got this all agree with its accuracy.

I got this as well. It was also spot on.

Fantastic response - as a writer, this gives me a lot to chew on. Thank you!

When discussing the book, I made mention of how the "alien-ness" of Middle Eastern culture to me as a Western reader opened me up to more readily accept the more far-out aspects of Nyx's world (such as Bugpunk), since I was already reeling for familiar handholds. Do you think that using a less traditional cultural

As far as Tej is concerned, I don't know that we'll ever get an explicit scene. There's so much political strife, that it could have been that he was gunned down trying to cross. Maybe, given Nyx's consternation over his death (it seems to be the genesis of her even bleaker worldview), maybe she betrayed him to secure

Interesting - I think that I was OK with the shapeshifting because it seemed to freak all the characters out as well. Aliens were mystified by it, people who were used to it still could barely stomach the watching of it, hell, even shapeshifters hated shapeshifters. I was like - OK, I don't understand the how or why;

Funny you should mention the "how" of the bugs. That was the one thing that really bugged me (sorry). I was willing to go along with glowing glowworms and exploding beetles; but the bigger things they allow Magicians to do just don't compute. The scene towards the end where Rhys has his hands fixed and there's a quick

I think I would have been tempted to put it down earlier if it hadn't been for the Book Club. I'd recommend picking it back up at some point; after the whirlwind of unfamiliar tech at the beginning of the novel, it settles into a solid sci-fi bounty hunter tale that's rather entertaining.
