The wheel wells throw it off for me. If they are round or matched the tire that would work.

And 4x4. I think only the Dodge Dakota here has that, and it’s over 40k. If they come in lower than that it’s a no brainier.

It looks like a 2 door option, in aus anyway.

The aus version has a 5 Diesel, manual, 2 door, 4x4. It is a super cab, but still better than 4 doors.

If I can get more cylinders than 4, with 2 doors and a manual I’m in.

Insert lame “arrow to the knee joke”.

God that looks cool. I wish they had some sort of live coverage, blimps, solar drones, sat phone go pros....

Shocking right! ;)

Capacitors are very good at holding a charge, and both taking and holding one. That’s why they should be tier 1 storage. Perhaps 1-10% of capacity. They get recharged by tier two that can dump quickly enough to get the caps going and they would take a slow charge from tier 3.

We actually have both, but not on a large scale.

I’ve seen the resivoior/hill thing. I still think that super caps that can charge and discharge super quick, backed up by slower charging/discharge cells might make either system more efficient.

I would think you would tier it like data storage. Capacitors up front as tier 1 storage, then lipos and your spinning disks, and some thing cheap like lead acid as tier 3. I’m not saying those exact technologies, but you get the idea and how it would work.

I’m still confused why mill wheels won’t work for hydro. Slow moving with a gearbox.

I’ve got two aeropress. They make the best coffee ever. But I do prefer the paper filters. They pop out with the coffee in a compressed disk. With the reusable one you have to pick it out of hot grounds.

It really is a shame that people who live where it’s legal still can’t smoke under penalty of firing.

It’s the mistake that totals a 100k+ car and paralysis of the other driver...You’re done at that point.

But no liability. That’s a huge hole.

Take out the track day wear and tear and it was free I think. Must be nice to be able to float 50k for a car that’s not paid off on a track.

Lol. Personal computers were absurdly expensive before they were mainstream. Of course making more of them cuts costs. The money is r&d and software. The hardware is cheap.

Not really. When I mash the pedal it means apply power, not downshift 2 gears and redline it.
