Oh my god that red Galaxie.

I like him, but I don’t think I’ll ever hold him in the same regard as Squier.

(I am aware that I hold Ken in maybe higher regard than most; he was the voice of my youth...whereas Paul Page was not until I started watching CART and IROC)

‘03 Marauder with a list of pretty good go-quick mods.
Better looking than a Grand Marquis, better performing than a Grand Marquis. Can’t build it for what it sold for.

Yes. They ARE worth more than their fair share.
No. They are not the only drivers who cause cautions.

Look, if you want me to talk about not liking a driver without a fact-based opinion for why, I could rattle off a list of names - neither Stenhouse nor Patrick would be a part of that list, Jimmie Johnson or Kyle

I didn’t make any claim that Danica or Stenhouse were the only causes of cautions.

However, if one wants a guarantee of at least one, probably 2 or more less cautions, smart money is on removing both of them.

“Barely intelligible”?
Are we talking about the same Ken Squier here? The one that’s been a race announcer since the ‘50s and has won tons of awards for his broadcast style? I’ve never once had an issue understanding *that* Ken Squier. But like I said, maybe we’re talking about different Ken Squiers.

Seriously, though...

And before a certain Buzz Killington comes in here and reminds me that there was a similar paint scheme in the NNS race last night, I want to clarify:
1. On a Ford
2. Sponsored by Texaco
3. Competitive

The #74 Davey tribute last night was on an underfunded Dodge driven by a D-list driver.

Well, I want the gold one next year.

Agreed! It was best and most successful as the #12 with Bobby Allison at the wheel.

They aren't running restrictor plates at Darlington.

How about a true Mark Martin throwback with the Stroh’s car (and I’d love to see Skoal and the gold High Life car return):

3. More Ken Squier and Ned Jarrett (and I’ll forgive Squier for saying Hamlin hails from Enumclaw, WA tonight)
2. Less cautions (pro tip: don’t let Danica or Stenhouse race in Cup anymore)
1. THIS (and it’d better be on a Ford):

Ned Jarrett, Ken Squire? Those two names come to mind for me.

Cheers.

Always thought these were hideously beautiful cars. NP for the ask. I’d offer $2900 and come in around $3300. Hemi swap, profit?

The worst thing I ever saw on an airplane was when I looked out the window and saw Chicago.

The Advance Auto Parts near my house is pretty good and my go-to for ‘need it quick’ stuff.

JCU '03 here... Hi.
