I just see it as a debunking of the schizophrenia mentioned in a lot of other places.

"Just snapped" implies they've had some kind of psychotic episode. Even hyper-rationalisation shows sign of a disorder.

But unlike the sensationalized articles everywhere this one actually give out facts and reasonable presumptions and has both pros and cons. It says schizophrenia is unlikely. We need more articles like these and less like the others.

I haven't read the Jezebel article, but the other online article I did read pointed out that the way society viewed at the shooting where he not a white male would be much more different. The argument isn't without merit.
