At least you didn’t end up with a Sorny or Magnetbox.

I’m kind of with Tom on this one. Cutting pieces of dough off a pre-made log isn’t “making cookies.” He wanted to get dirty, get flour everywhere, scoop the dough out of the bowl with a spoon, push the dough off the spoon onto the sheet with his finger, lick the spoon when he was done, etc. That’s making cookies.

Yeah, I’m with you on this one. I think most people are missing the point here. He wanted to make the dough himself.

That’s what I don’t get. He obviously wanted to make the dough himself. Why didn’t they just send someone to get the cookie dough ingredients and a recipe?

I just had an idea.

Another good tip regarding drywall my dad taught me: use a utility knife when cutting it instead of a saw. He always took great amusement in seeing someone doing some work in their driveway, covered head to toe in their white dust cloud.

Same here. I was going to make some joke about Emil Minty. That’s a little harder to pick up on though.

These are actual street names in Ann Arbor.

If anyone in the area is interested, they are having an open house for the general public Thursday July 23rd from 4-8pm. Typically the general public will not have access the facility.

I would have to agree with this. While most people might “know” it, they don’t really “understand” it . Or they don’t actually do anything about it. You need to make a plan and put it into action. Knowing what to do or what needs to be done isn’t enough. You need to actually do it.

If you have rock climbing (gym or outdoors) in your area, give that a try. It's fun exercise.

I don't know for sure, but I don't think that's what they mean by "update". Going to the next major version of the OS seems to called an upgrade. Update most likely just means service packs, security patches, etc. For now. They might do the same free upgrade from Win10 to Win11, or they might not. Seems to far away

I was going to say the same thing. You shouldn't have to force yourself to like something. Keep looking until you find something that appeals to you. I don't think I really like "traditional" art, but I like most of the stuff that shows up at thisiscolossal.com or hifructose.com. Also, maybe you could try revisiting

This is exactly it. I think they are more afraid of the army of lawyers that would descend upon them should anything actually happen than NK itself.

When renting a car, don't buy the full tank of gas at the discounted rate. If you do, then you need to return the car with an almost completely empty tank for it to be worth it. That is much more difficult to do that just filling up before you return the car.

Exactly. There is a difference between taking money out of someone's pocket versus not putting extra into their pocket. This is clearly the latter. Thus, it is not "costing" them anything.

If they are, I hope the comment is "Due to popular demand, we are adding a Glitch Mode to our latest UFC game". I would totally buy this game if stuff like this happened on a regular basis while playing.
