A BRG painted 850 Spider was my first car. It had the the Miura headlamps , they shared tail lights and side Bertone badges too. The Dino wheel claim is purely stupidity. The Campy wheels from a Dino would have been 14" with a 5x108mm pattern not the 13" rim with 4x98mm of the Fiat. The new 500 still has the 4x98mm

When I was young and living in NC, it was even on the breakfast buffet at some restaurants. If not pork brains with eggs it would be fish roe and eggs. I have had both and could eat the pork brains again but never the roe. Neither are a favorite.

I’ve been a navigator in 6 amateur cat rallies, twice in snow and ice. It not that much crazier.

I don’t mind the insight into other cultures. I think its what broadens ones knowledge. Each region in the US seems to be different for brand mix and car lifespans which is changing rapidly. One of the guys I met at a July 4th event was talking about being near D.C. just weeks back and how he had to search the lot to

nice pics!

Looks like you had a great time in my old home state. I was at CLE Cars & Coffee, already posted over on Oppositelock. Got to meet fellow OPPO TheJWT today and see his GTA. It needs some work but its pretty nice from what I see and has potential.

My cars are for daily driving in Ohio. In the winter it might see water once a month to clean off the salt. I’m sure reading this will sent somebody who is OCD into an immediate heart attack. I do a complete detailing maybe three times a year and might vacuum the interior another time or two. As for paint conditioning

I and two techs rendered about 45 cars ready for recycling during cash for clunkers. If they follow the same guidelines they will seize the engines with liquid glass (sodium silicate) in the place of motor oil. After that the battery and catalyst are removed from the car and it looks like they will also take the

Pass. I’ve had to find parts for those before and it was difficult 10 yrs ago. I can’t imagine trying to find the obscure parts now.

I sorta liked the duct tape thing they had going.

My first thought is fuel brands used and octane ratings could be at fault.

We have a modded TDI that shows at our Cars and Coffee. His plate reads “LOL-EPA”.

You make me want to drive cross country again with Steely Dan Gaucho playing on the stereo. The two other albums for that drive are Van Halen’s 1st album and Rolling Stones- Some Girls. Rinse, Repeat.

Some filming took place in Chile but it was Bolivia’s water supply I believe they were trying to take control of.

This would be my choice.

It’s scary enough how many soy products we ingest without reading labels. Everyone needs to read how much soy is screwing around with our thyroid functions. Some say it prevents cancer some say it can cause cancer which may depend on who is paying for the research. Years ago we were so concerned with fats and sugars ,

I have to agree and I’ve been on VWVortex. Audizine used to be much like that but the members have matured. If you surf car forums you’ll find only a handful of people on each that know anything, the rest are mostly trolls. I Over 20 yrs of car forums under my belt. After people discover I work in parts and service

Can’t blame it on cheaply sourced Chinese batteries
