At some point a group of people making this video had to decide that when Katy refueled herself with gas, where exactly in her butt it would go. And in a strange choice didn’t pick the spot we all assumed they’d use.

Less so in Hollywood, I think, since having recognizable names on your marquee is worth something, even if they’re not all that great at their job.  It might also be worth something to you to do a favor for Julia Roberts by hiring her niece.  

Incredibly stupid. Even if Biden was a nonfunctioning drooling vegetable permanently residing in a hospital bed you get your ass out there, vote, and stop Trump.

Plus, America already voted for a woman. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million votes. Unfortunately we still use the electoral college.

Wait, where’s all the hand-wringing and blaming the consumers? We need another Nicole Kidman commercial reminding us that we the common folk should be putting our collective health on the line in the midst of a pandemic to save the movie theatres.

I like going to the movies, so, selfishly, I hope theaters survive. But I think audiences have made pretty clear that there are really only a handful of movies per year that they’re willing to pay for a full theatrical experience to see. And I don’t think that makes them assholes or philistines.

Sadly in the US, the current market trend is to keep working at 66 if you are healthy enough to do it. With pensions pretty much no longer being a thing for most people and the last few years really fucking over 401Ks, the later baby boomers just can’t afford to stop working in their mid 60s, if they expect to live…

I’ll believe her when I (don’t) see her.  I feel like very few celebrities who announce they’re quitting actually follow through.  The ones who quit just... you know, quit and fade away.

I mean, if she’s tired of hearing people say bad things about her (no matter how justified they may be), she’s 66 and has “fuck you” money. So why not just go be a regular, old, retiree?

Netflix is really turning itself into a clearinghouse for deeply unfunny people who are very mad that no one laughs along with their material, aren’t they?

I think it’s less “they shouldn’t allow him to say those (woke) things!” and more “Netflix/Spotify shouldn’t be paying a man money who’s platforming Alex Jones and has been broadcasting demonstrably false and harmful antivax info for years”.
