My 1964 Cadillac. First car I ever had and drove it to high school and still driving it, but not daily at the moment. It’s about 19 feet long and sticks out of most parking spots. The heat and AC don’t work so you had to dress accordingly. The top leaks so I have to carry towels in case it rains. It’s lowered 3" so

Nice try, officer.

We lost a good one. You should check out his music. He had a truly unique soul inspired rap style. Not like the garbage you hear on the radio.

Was gonna comment earlier and changed my mind thinking I was grumpy because I didn’t have my coffee, but hell no to this thing. I see way nicer vehicles being scrapped at the junkyard. Seriously, this car is well overdue to die. Paying for oil between every stop at the gas station gets pretty expensive when you add it

They should have vantablacked out that awful BMW X6 grill.

I feel the same way about bags. Awesome when they work, but I imagine them being a complete nightmare when they don’t.

Wrenching seems to be higher on your priority list than detailing, so before you sell it, consider getting a professional detail done. I think it would do this Jeep proper justice to get it done by a pro and would earn you some extra cash on the sale.

Go for it and let me know how it goes. If all the computer operated systems are still functioning properly 30 years from now, let me know and you win a prize.

Yeah, the keep it simple concept really applies here. Mostly because finding ancient outdated tech parts to repair them can make it near impossible when they aren’t produced anymore.

The problem with modern cars is that all that tech packed into them shortens their lifespan. Your 35 year old Jeep has much less to worry about, which is great, but I certainly wouldn’t want to own a fully loaded 2020 Mercedes 30 years from now because it would probably be a nightmare to repair.

The redesign looks too busy to me. Kind of hard to beat the simple lines on the original.

Salt Life

Love the carpet. Reminds me of the ones they used in ‘59 Chevrolets which were absolutely gorgeous to me.

He gets bonus points for attempting a dangerous stunt during the unluckiest year ever. Glad all went well.

The floor pans are the cheap part. Welding work is very expensive if you’re not doing it yourself. I picked up a rusty barn find car in high school and learned how expensive it is to pay somebody else to do it. Would never pick up another rusty car again.

I thought this was one of those amphibious cars for a minute there.

I see more classics wrecked transporting them on trailers than cruising down the highway or around town. Drive ‘em!

We had a blue one called The Vanimal. Roll up windows with electric locks. Had to climb in through the rear to get shotgun since the door hinges rusted off and you couldn’t open it anymore.

Cadillac tried this by moving to NYC, but it didn’t work out for them. GM just needs to focus on making better quality, more interesting cars.
