Lol, don’t go robbing a bank in Phoenix with an obnoxious looking amphibious vehicle that’s probably super slow. I just want to see what a police chase would look like with this goofy thing driving down boat ramps into the water and the police just sitting there scratching their heads.

This is total CP, but I always thought this would make the best getaway vehicle for a bank robbery.

Yeah, probably not with 2 doors, but his kid is 8 so he doesn’t need a child restraint seat anymore according to Indiana law, which is where they live. He can legally ride in the front seat as well in that state. Not sure I’d recommend it though.

The Buick?

That’s the worst when I see people in performance vehicles not bother giving it any gas to merge into traffic causing everybody to hit the brakes. You bought the performance vehicle! Use the performance!

That’s pretty crazy that you knew exactly what car I was talking about. I left in 2012, so I’m not sure if it’s still there. Didn’t see it on Google maps either, but I did find this wild looking shorty truck parked in front of Audubon Park.

Circa 2008. I can’t remember much about the car but it always stuck in my mind for some reason as well as the blue 60's Bonneville down the street.

It did a 14.1 in the quarter mile.

Yeah, those big boats belong on the highway. It’s where they were meant to be. And 31-32 mpg is really good for a big car like that. Long live the land yachts.

Less murder. Crowded enough to make you want to punch random people in the face. The Chinese food is on point though.

It’s definitely a bit of an oddball, but I think that’s what I kinda like about it.

Was that actually your father’s old car because that’s really funny that you know exactly which one I’m talking about. It was always parked on St. Charles in front of the church. It was super clean.

I decided to google the 1999 Riviera for kicks and giggles. 18 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. Not bad at all.

Yeah, it would be pretty slow by modern standards. Same with a lot of “fast” cars from the 90's like the Syclones and Typhoons and even some Ferraris.

Yeah, the Buick doesn’t look like something that would be fuel efficient. Personally I think the best suggestion for this person that wants to do a lot of driving and hold a kid should probably just get a used fully loaded Prius. It would feel luxurious compared to a base model Mazda and be very reliable and fuel

Somebody back at Loyola New Orleans used to street park an impeccably detailed Buick Riviera and I never would have given one of those cars any attention before, but just seeing one so well kept and taken care of made me notice. Plus they come supercharged. If you’re going to recommend a Buick, it should be this one.

I really hope he video-blogs their reaction to the state of his Jeep.

I’m pretty sure it would be considered totaled before the accident even happened.

Shit does happen. It’s just a shame the owner didn’t pass the car on to somebody who could take care of it when they got Parkinson’s and no longer could take care of it themselves.

They didn’t seem to care about it too much to let it get to the state that it was rediscovered in.
