What, no NPOCP Chevy Luv for our national hallmark holiday?

Yeah, bullet-hole stickers are for posers. I let my friends let off a few rounds in every panel of my car so now I have REAL bullet holes. Looks bitchin’

I really dig the CobraSofa. Now if I can just get my hands on a ‘96 Impala, we can go cruise in style to RADwood.

I’d honestly love to see somebody restomod one of these and french the bumpers. It’d look so much better with a few tasteful changes and it would haul ass with the right engine swap.

Having a light sports car in this era probably was the best thing to do to combat the high gas prices. Most of the domestic cars tried to keep the mass and kill the power and it resulted in some pretty slow, bloated vehicles. They sure were comfortable though. Like big floating sofas.

Nothing made decent horsepower in the 70's after the oil crisis. 500 cubic inch Cadillac motors were making less than 200 horsepower by 1976. It was insane. Combine that with the mandatory impact bumpers, it’s why I think it’ll stay one of the least collectible eras of cars.

That’s Mopar for ya.

Have you ever tried to swap parts on cars from different model years of those eras? Very few parts will actually swap, including engine parts. Cadillac was putting out a new redesigned engine every couple of years and it changed every single year. You’re arguing that new vehicles will come with mechanical changes, but

And that’s what people will say about today’s cars in the future. It’s just that 50 years ago, when you bought a new car, it actually had plenty of changes from the previous year that actually enticed consumers to buy a new car.

Don’t forget the mud.

Remember when auto manufacturers actually changed the body style every year and didn’t just tweak two things that nobody will ever notice? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Don’t forget the glitter. :D

Just wash your hands and burn your clothes afterwards 😂

I love these cars so much and I’m really happy to see somebody actually drove theirs, but damn that interior looks like a strip club from the 90's that never got refurbished.

I do that every day. In the summer I use the 55 year old rusty beater too.

The price has me wondering if he’s put it up for sale just to see if the kids will have a change of heart knowing he’s letting it go. It’s a free truck. Take it ya little brats. I drove some serious shitmobiles throughout my life and would be insanely happy if somebody restored a vehicle for me before giving it to me s

I can’t believe these cars still exist. I used to see them everywhere and now seeing one is like seeing a unicorn.

It’s like that scene from The Matrix Reloaded, where they enter the garage full of Cadillacs.

Not a Mercedes guy, but that has serious sex appeal.

You should ask why anybody looking for an extremely small vehicle would buy this over an electric Smart car that has two seats and four wheels, that I’m guessing is about the same size and probably more practical.
