I had one of those in high school and after we broke up I cut it shorter than he liked. For the next five years or so I kept it around shoulder length or so, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found long hair just doesn’t suit me.

Oddly enough I get left alone more when I’m in a normal BMI range and people are just nicer to me overall. I’m a far easier target when I’m fat, and as an adolescent it was miserable. I was like 160lb in high school and had a big ass and big boobs and the harassment was unreal. I remember a couple of high school boys…
Re EE: she didn’t post JOHN SMITH HAS CROHN’S DISEASE AND CAN’T GIVE ME DICK AND LIVES AT 123 FAKE STREET, it is an advice column and she asked for advice.
Kim is really good at being the thing other people hitch their wagon to/a professional beard at this point.

Yeah with new pap screening guidelines, a normal smear means you only need one every three years, and a doctor requiring one every year to refill birth control should have a good explanation. You still need a check up once a year, pap or no. No one can force you, but if they put you on medication they are responsible…
We do this thing where if we don’t force people to do things a certain way, we stop allocating any resources to do it that way. So, for example, when Rx meds go OTC, insurance plans stop covering them, good luck getting your doctor to discuss them with you over other alternatives, have fun getting time with a…

So they won’t detail it in the official privacy policy but they’ll tell you in an email? Hell no.
The common definition of agnosticism is someone who *doesn’t* know if there is a god, but I truck with the kind that you *can’t* know. We likely don’t have the hardware. No reason to stress about it. It’s sad, but ain’t shit you can do about it.
If gypsy cabs and Ubers can still operate then people following regulations are at an economic disadvantage because operating correctly and safely costs more money. It’s called an insurance premium, for starters. Having regulations in general is not the problem. The way those regulations have been applied is the…
You can change teams. It’s in the new settings or you can just send a support request.
They’re really convenient for getting through security when you have to take things out of your bag. I have precheck and guess what, sometimes they aren’t doing it that day and you can only do expedited screening so you’ll still have to unload things.

Unfortunately this is not the case for the Omaha area Goodwill and has seriously affected my donations. I’ll still give housewares, but clothing goes straight to the shelters.
“433 of the frequently abused opioid pills for every man, woman and child in the state of 1.84 million people.” 433 of what? Over what time period? A year? That’s less than 2 pills per day, so if you had chronic pain that would be likely nothing, because they’re not going straight to Oxycontin. The first thing I have…
You’re right, it is important to differentiate between dependence and addiction and that was laziness on my part. It’s also important to differentiate between overdose and addiction. While one tends to follow the other, it isn’t certain. Overdose is almost always a sign of abuse but not all illicit users will overdose.
They assume women will put it in the purse.
If it’s a real pocket sewn shut, it was for shipping and display and you’re meant to take a seam ripper to it. It should be only a few stitches.
One? The man is a senator, for chrissakes. It should be an extra G at LEAST.
Can you point to any studies that show that TSS is no longer a risk? I couldn’t find any.
