Just wanted to brag that I finally made good on my yearly goal of gingerbread house making. It was inspired by this:

Happy winter holidays, Jezzies! Quiet Christmas Eve here in our house. Tomorrow we are heading up to CT (we are in Queens) to see my family, with my Mom’s old friend (who lives in Brooklyn).

Hi Jezzies, happy almost Christmas for those who celebrate it.

I have been reading for almost a year but never posted. Christmas this year has been hard. My Dad is visiting and I’m trying so hard to show him that I am doing OK. He comes every year at Christmas no matter what. So I have to remind myself that even though change feels slow for me it must be pretty dramatic for him.

There was a Bowie exposition in my town with pictures that Duffy the photographer took (the famous with the lightning included) I am giving my sister (a very cool photographer) the book from the expo :)

Here I roasted a turkey (my first!) and tiramisu. The table is decorated, Christmas oldies are playing and my lighted tree earrings are on. Life sucks but let’s enjoy tonight. Merry Christmas to everyone, hope things are going great at least for a few days. Love you all more than you know, my dearies.
