To me, this seems to be children mimicking their environment. Dad drinks beer and yells at the tv while eating drumsticks, kid acts in a similar manner.

I use linkedin pretty regularly, mostly to see if there are any interesting discussions in a couple groups I belong to. The most annoying thing, for me, is the group discussion being sorted by what an algorithm determines is important versus the time it was created.
FDA-like organizations probably exist already, but they wouldn't have the legal authority to force any changes/recalls or impose fines. Those organizations would be about as influential as people complaining on Yelp.
The FDA finds undeclared ingredients in products all the time. Their recall list used to have a ton of herbal supplements that contained all sorts of APIs that weren't supposed to be there. The general public doesn't have a chemistry lab to learn this, so we let the FDA do that for us.
What is proper etiquette when only one family drinks?
This was disappointing. I was hoping for something on setting up managed devices or a server/client setup :(
I've been doing this for years but mostly because it fits into containers really nicely for traveling or keeping in the fridge.
I believe the yeti on SkiFree is proof of this.
Not saying running's the best, but I hardly consider trail running with my dogs for 1-2 hours to be time wasted.
Yeah, it's not great for cyclists. There's an elementary school nearby that has some special textured crosswalks that'd be better than rumble strips now that I think of it, but it's the same idea.
I feel like using rumble strips in problem areas would be a better solution. That way it'd make roughly the same noise for every vehicle approaching (including bicycles). They could also only place the strips in right turn lanes or something along those lines.
In defense of red delicious apples - I never liked them growing up, they always tasted dry. Part of the blame is on ripeness/in-season-ness but I've found that the organic ones taste fantastic. Definitely worth the extra $0.30/lb.
I replaced my lunch break with gym time in November and it completely eliminated any interest in afternoon caffeine for me. Plus I live in Minnesota, so the extra body heat was a blessing in a chilly office.
The three things that took some adjusting to (for me) were:
1. Access creates queries automatically (ie it doesn't ask you if you want to save it, it just assumes you want to), which can really quickly add a bunch of junk to a database. It's very important to document what different objects are or come up with a way to…
Search folders are built in, no coding necessary!
Sorry, Kinja ate my reply. I couldn't find any good links (it's hard to find reference material for Outlook VBA). Honestly, the best help I found was in Outlook itself (F1) and then searching (eg "MailItem Object members" shows all the things you can do with an email).
Exactly. My Inbox folder has everything (no subfolders). Some messages have a category, some have several. Then I have search folders to show me the categories I care about (FY15 Budget for example). You could also have search folders that exclude certain categories or show items without any category.
I switched from using folders to search folders + categories and would highly recommend it (I was annoyed by 2b and this fixed it).
Although my body seems to handle it just fine, I haven't had gluten in a few months. I don't really drink and I generally have no interest in bread-like products, so this was completely coincidental. The only change I've noticed is clearer/less oily/overall healthier skin. Not sure if that would be caused gluten…
I actually really like the leash on the remote.
