I just love the look of that thick 16-bit grass.

The tag on the beer ad is just perfect. I have, in social situations, politely accepted enough cans of that unfortunate attempt at a beverage that I can wholeheartedly advise anyone encountering that message to click "cancel."
Yeah, I assumed as much. I just have a bit of fun deconstructing the idiotic things people say, sometimes. I was actually kind of hoping to get a response from the OP here... I'd love to see how one would defend such a stupid assertion.
Well-said. Taking inspiration from a previous work is not necessarily creating a ripoff. Hopefully this precedent won't help to kill any projects other than blatant plagiarism such as the Tetris clone in question.
"And I know Kotaku posts this Brony bullshit just to get page hits, shame on you."
Nah. You want to draw a comparison to Juggalos, see Deadheads or Morrisey/Smiths diehards.
It actually is a pretty amusing game, though its replay value isn't spectacularly high. If you enjoyed Cubivore you'd probably get a kick out of this Doshin.
Really? There are certainly plenty of examples of "booth babes" and the like who could be argued as fitting the clumsily-worded judgment you offer here, but I think few will agree that these three number among them. Not one of them appears to be a veteran of unwarranted cosmetic surgery, and despite the tastelessly…
I've always interpreted the victory conditions as:
I keep all of mine vertical, as do very many others. It saves space and avoids heat issues.
The Wii remote is extremely good for playing Pikmin. I found it much more natural than the GameCube controller.
I tend to sit far across the room from my TV and consoles when I'm gaming. Every so often, my PS3 controller comes close to running out of juice. When that happens, I move a chair a bit closer to the TV and play with the controller plugged into its charger. Catastrophe averted!
The cat on the left reminds me of a Buddha statue. If only we could all be so content as that kitty!
Honestly, I would be most pleased to see them make it as close to Smash as possible. That series does platform fighting a thousand times better than any other game that has attempted it. And since Nintendo hasn't exactly oversaturated the market with that series, I would be more than happy to drop $60 on a…
Thank you! I knew I recognized this song, but couldn't place it. I tried to sift through the youtube comments for an answer, but that is always, always a mistake.
Nice. This is good news. I love my 3DS, but I do find myself going back to my DSi XL for its awesome screens sometimes.
I played through Mother 3 on an official cartridge (i.e. in Japanese) with nothing but a FAQ and an extremely basic understanding of Japanese, and I still enjoyed it immensely! If there are good translation texts available online, I'd say go for it! Taking that extra step to experience the game can even add a bit of…
I have a hard time believing that that opinion is as universal as you seem to think it is. I've played through CT five or six times, and I love the fair! It demonstrates the game's great NPC mechanics early on, which was the thing that hooked me the first time I played it. On top of that, I've always loved the way…
I know someone who's going to love this thing!
I couldn't agree more. Jar Jar Binks is definitely a great character, and here's hoping we see more of him.
