Like many others here, I've been gaming heavily my whole life. I generally regard myself as a pretty intelligent and effective guy, but I don't think much of that can really be attributed to my gaming habits.

The whole time I was looking at the pictures, I kept being impressed but wondering why there was no Virtual Boy. Then I got to the last picture, saw the Virtual Boy along with those rare Club Nintendo GCN controllers, and pretty much passed out.

I like how the beginning of Mario is so iconic that it seems like it took no effort at all to get an accurate approximation of it. It both shows how much games have entered into the mainstream culture, and how much of an impact Mario had.
