Because most reviews seem to be knee-jerk reactions to games. It's new, it's flashy, it's shocking, and everyone immediately says "oh my god this is the greatest game ever!" And then they step back and look at it critically and then actually give a legitimate review.

I played that game when I only had a CRT TV and holy shit, trying to read the smallest text in a video ever was annoying as hell. Also the AI was horrendous. I pretty much gave up on rescuing people because they could never follow me.

How did they know this is what I wanted from the once dominant global JRPG series? Geniuses.
