No this Origin model is actually a rebranded Clevo P770ZM. It uses socketed CPU and MXM graphics, not soldered BGA CPU & GPU like most laptops. As a result, you will be able to upgrade to Pascal GPU. The CPU is socketed and can be upgraded as well. As for the pricing, Origin PC charges too much IMO, this same laptop…

First of all, Mr. Fahey note this is a rebranded Clevo P770ZM, and the exact same laptop is available from various Clevo resellers (Sager, Mythlogic, Eurocom, Origin PC, Schenker/XMG, Metabox, Overclockers UK, etc.). Origin buys Clevo laptops and resells them with the Origin brand, just like Sager and all the others.
