since he was seemingly only a threat to women - specifically, Tierne Ewing - I’m not sure the judge cared all that much.

He was, she said, apparently upset by some text he saw on her phone.
Sure, this asshole’s vicious aim was great when it came to torturing and killing his own wife, but he couldn’t aim straight at his own head? Coward.
I hate that he fucked up the “suicide” part of the murder/suicide...but I really hope some competent judge throws the fucking book at him and he has to spend the rest of his life suffering and living with what the fuck he did.
Why shouldn't they, in your opinion, sue him?
This judge is culpable in her murder.
It is incomprehensible to me that this man was given bail or bond in the first place simply as a matter of public safety.
The judge should have this woman’s picture tattooed on his forehead along with the words “I helped kill her.”
Outrageous and horrifying. Bumping your comment up.
Wow, of all the circumstances to not offer bail, an armed domestic abuser who has already kidnapped and tortured his wife once is it. Absolutely ridiculous.
In all honesty don’t most celebrities act this way though?
though they note he was only charged with a felony assault with a deadly weapon.
I just don’t understand why this competition has a $10,000 prize. Is there anyone competing who cares about the money? Their saddles probably cost more.
It blows my mind how that amount probably means absolutely nothing to her, yet it would pay off my car. Life, man.
Oddly I have met several people from Pigeon Forge and they all have the best things to say about her. Dollywood pretty much saved the area financially and she gives away thousands of books to Tennesee school children every year.
I feel like she is genuinely saying all of these things from a place of love and not in a humblebrag way whatsoever. Seriously. She just seems like one of the best humans to ever grace this earth.
It’s a good point, though, and I don’t think it’s nitpicking.
Here’s a grand idea: name it Brock’s Law. Make sure his name is directly associated with this law so it’s never forgotten what he did and got away with.
This is kinda me being a pedant but I do think it’s actually an important point.
