The more I think about your response to me basically presenting how a doctor can apply the principles of Health At Every Size, the more depressed I get.

My doc doesn't really discuss my weight with me, because she knows that I know and I don't appreciate the hard sell. We discuss what I'm eating and how much exercising I'm doing. I like the fact that she treats me like an adult and is supportive instead of threatening. All doctors should be like that.

I wasn't being snarky. I was giving you real advice. None of the things I mentioned are guaranteed to help someone lose weight; they are all ways to help someone get healthier.
