Yeah, the so-called pro-lifers don't really seem to give a damn about the women who WANT to carry to term, and their babies. Assholes.

Because this isn't about protecting patients, it's about restricting abortion access.

It's funny how these guys use the most coded language, too - he wasn't going to say outright "oh yeah, they're going to use the money on gold chains and 40s," but you know that's what he meant. Fuckin' racist shithead.

"the right place at the right time"??? wow, you have a pretty weird idea of what was going down there.

furthermore, the victims of the police there ARE THEMSELVES TAXPAYERS.

interesting and telling assumption that the folks involved are not taxpayers themselves (not at all true).

I believe what we have here is an "everyone is stupid but me" type.

The way the money was being used before clearly wasn't helping. Perhaps the citizens will find a better way to use it.

Your idea of "waste" differs from mine. I don't think this is a waste, at all. I think this is justice. I think that wars are a waste.

Oh great, first glasses, now freckles. everyone's biting my fuckin' style. I DID IT FIRST BITCHES

YES. BEER GUTS NEXT PLEASE.

So you're saying that there's no actual way citizens can band together to stop this? that's pretty depressing. (I disagree, but I can certainly see why you would feel that way.)

Um... who are the police protecting exactly? I haven't seen much protecting going on in Ferguson.

Ummmm... you don't think these folks might be able to reinvest those funds into things the community needs? Oh ye of little faith.

Well, or all the cynics could see what's happening organizing-wise in their town and start building a real resistance. There's always that possibility.

It's funny in contexts like this, if you say, "Well, what did you expect from an inherently sexist-from-the-time-of-its-origins institution like marriage?" they don't see the contradiction in squawking about how unfair that is to say.

She rides the bus???? she does not strike me as a person who would ride the bus. Hell, given the option, I would never ride the bus, and I have neither a tiny dog nor pearls to clutch.

"Be a whore, girls, but not a WHORE-whore."

The point of viability, as it stands with current medical technology, is 22 weeks, which is to say that survival when born at that point is rare but not impossible. However, without that medical technology, we're talking a LOT later. So that's also a question.
