Standing in front of a vehicle to stop its path is stupid. You are squishy and a car is not.

Thank you. Of the first few comments that I’ve seen, I’m shocked at the high percentage of rational opinions. Usually Jalopnik is a cesspool of groupthink.

There’s a difference between running over a bunch of people on a walking path minding their own business vs accelerating out of an angry mob that’s blocking the street and attacking you. Comparing these to ISIS is a bit of a false equivalency.

The police ramming these rioters don’t really bother me . There is a difference between protesters and rioters  .Protesters should be protected rioters need to be protected against . When a crowd attacks it can get real ugly real fast .

These guys often spend a couple hundred on many pieces of crap, so a few thousand on one piece of crap is honesty more efficient.

A resulting Great Depression from stay at home orders could easily kill as many or more compared to Covid 19. Many State Governors are picking winners and losers when shutting down their respective States.  There has to be a point of diminishing returns on Stay At Home orders.

....who cares? Many of the other cars in this segment with better interiors and infotainment have wrong wheel drive.... personally I would take the mediocre interior. RWD > infotainment IMO.... and is not like these are C5 Tupperware interiors or anything. They’re decent.

Vaporware or not, I see this all-electric Lotus as the beginning of an end. This will be the end of Lotus as how we’ve always known them, and appreciated them for, and the beginning of an eco-friendly “driver’s car” *chuckles*

The other thing is automatic car washes. The spinning brushes sometimes catches the edge and bends the plate. Then the owner bends it back into place but it will never be straight again.
