In the Mega Man Battle Network series, the Japanese names for the main characters were Netto and Saito Hikari, Net and Site Light. Netto had a kid at the end named Raito, which sounded cool and fit.

Huh. I guess I’d forgotten about all the things that terrified me as a child, and how many of them were in this game. it now seems so innocuous and adorable.
