There are moments when celebrity deaths affect me, and it's an odd sensation, missing someone I've never met. So far, they have been Steve Jobs, Robin Williams, and Leonard Nimoy.

I used to have a ton of floppy drives sitting around my house. Wanted to do this myself.
It's not exactly hailed as the healthiest pastime, but it clearly has less stigma attached to it at this point. If you watch TV and movies, you're maybe not cool, but you're normal. If you play video games (as an adult) it's a little weirder. That's been my experience, anyway.
Why do TV and movies get a free pass in adulthood? Seems to me like they should actually rank one coolness level lower than video games, because they're entirely passive.

I don't even play a lot of games anymore, but I'm still saddened by the decline of dedicated gaming hardware.
