As a graphic artist I understand that better isn't always better, brand recognition trumps style sometimes, hence the old but still used Price Is Right logo and others like google. Sure they may be horrible, but it's too late to change, you can only do slight retreatments.

Depends on how much you want to spend. Joy2Key is free, XPadder is $5, and Pinnacle Game Profiler is $20 (but it's on sale for $10 right now). Every one of them is worth what you pay for them.

I'm holding out for a PC version. I haven't had a working TV in a year, and haven't felt any urge to get one just so I can play a couple xbox games.
