I mean that is a pretty clear cut example of the kid being in the wrong. I get it’s just a kid but anybody knows not to mess with machines in motion.

It looks like the robot captured a piece, so for that it has to do two operations : remove the piece it captures and move its piece to the square. The robot did the first operation (dropping the captured piece in a bag by the board) and as it was doing the 2nd, the boy moved a piece to the empty square and got his

Why are people ok with white collar people being laid off verse blue collar? They both have families to feed. White collar doesn’t  necessarily mean they make more

I don’t disagree with your premise, but I believe what you’re describing in #3 is LIFO (Last in, first out). As in, the last people who were hired to the company (23 year old engineers) are the first to be shown the door.

I really don’t think that’s how the math works. You take the $ fine and double it. Relatively few states have a fine system that is linear with speed. Michigan’s is actually pretty fascinating:

“The driver unfortunately lost control & crashed. Perfect example of what could happen if you decide to go 89mph in a 60mph construction zone.”

And yet the police officer was travelling at the same speed and did not crash. It’s almost as if there was a reason other than just the speed for the crash.

Look, overall I quite like it. Great proportions and I love the interior. But there’s no excuse for this bullshit right here...

The final option, limiting engine power, is the most disconcerting of the bunch, but — once again — the law still requires that the driver can overrule the ISA by pushing the accelerator harder.

Firstly, it’s sad when anyone is killed. And I feel bad for his family.

This latest shooting by Minneapolis police happened ONE BLOCK FROM WHERE I LIVE. This was NOT a situation like Amir Locke—-who in 9 SECONDS from knocking on the door was shot, when Locke appeared to barely have awakened from sleep.

Most lawn mowers have a mulch option. Just use that. The cut is finer, but it keeps everything enclosed.

I’d forgotten it was even supposed to come out this year. I guess I just assumed it was always going to be pushed out.

Not only that, but your full-time job when you’re unemployed is getting another job. It's not a vacation.

Be careful what you wish for. I’ve been in that position and it felt like anything but a sabbatical.

I will say that them delivering a car to you with a seven day test drive period and them coming to you to buy a used vehicle is really nice. I sold a vehicle to a dealership recently- got an online quote, took it in and I then had to haggle and shit over the price they offered to me in-person, which was two grand

Wherever you land on this matter (and I’m going to let you know what I think and you better agree with me and my take)
