Remember when making a vehicle purchase use to be exciting. Now its like, how much am I gonna pay through the nose for my new ride? It really sucks.

Like I said elsewhere, JK and Depp would hold more water if stuff that had the “Harry Potter” brand directly applied didn’t still do well. Both the game show and the reunion special did very well. The game show in particular got Cartoon Network its highest ratings since the Steven Universe movie. And the State of Play…
Woof, turns out no one actually gives a crap about Dumbledore’s secrets
This. Ultimately, this whole argument is pointless, since the only real way we could really measure any of this to know for sure is if we lived in a world where the last movies had been massive gangbusters successes prior to JK Rowling going all full-TERF in public. As is, these movies have been doing increasingly…
Weird. It’s almost like this was a series of movies that no one needed or really wanted, and that has been pretty fucking terrible, and people are taking that into account.
I guarantee no normal people care what JK Rowling is saying on twitter. It’s just never been a very exciting series no matter how hard WB pushes it on people.
Yeah, even the first one barely spent any time with each creature and just ran around the whole time. It would have been better to have it like Jurassic Park where the focus was on how cool a specific animal was
It can be two things, I think.
Many die hards don’t like them because they contradict canon or complicate it in ways. Like the last movie had a spell where you could literally see what happened in any give space before you arrived. Why wouldn’t Harry or his enemies have used that?
If you actually wanted to do a young Dumbledore movie, it makes much more sense to set it between his childhood split with Grindelwald and the war with Grindelwald. Like, maybe tell us how Dumbledore actually became Dumbledore. Who mentored him? How did he learn the lessons he imparts on others?
JK Rowling’s statements have certainly made me fall out of love with Harry Potter. It’s not a case of actively boycotting it or anything like that, but it’s really just a whole lot less fun once you lose respect for the author. So yes, it is a case of “eh...it exists,” but whereas before her comments I probably would…
Or more accurately, if the franchise never creates another compelling lead character. There is so much potential in the Wizarding World for a compelling non-Harry Potter-centric story or even an MCU style expansion, they just didn’t stick the landing. Personally I thought from the start Fantastic Beasts was a dead…
I wanted this movie series to be like.. Pokémon or something, I guess?
More about adventuring to where these fantastic beasts are and explore different corners of the wizarding world. Help these creatures. Have small emotional stories connected to them.
It’s shocking that a four years later sequel to a movie nobody liked is tanking
Yeah and not just the first one, but the response to the second one, which is this is the direct sequel of, was pretty brutal. One might jump to the conclusion that might have a bigger impact than what JK Rowling thinks about transpeople, but then again that doesn’t give that same room for feeling good about moral…
I haven’t heard anybody say the screen going out is not serious, they are just saying the author or driver are sensationalizing this to make it sound like the guy is in a car careening out of control on the freeway when it was in fact responding to driver controls, and second, lots of cars have stalled or…
Yur questions are correct: this piece just sounds and reads like someone reaching for their 15 minutes of fame because...if your brakes work, how was your car stuck at 83 mph? And like you said, why would CHP be needed to help you off the highway? Just brake, steer and get off the road.
I did look at the video. He was completely in control of the vehicle. There’s just no display of the speed. He wasn’t stuck at 83 mph. The display was stuck at 83 mph.
I missed the part of the story where after he hit his turn signals, he leaned outside of the car to see if they were actually flashing. Obviously if his MCU (media control unit for screen/speakers) is frozen, he’s not going to see an indication of the turn signals on said frozen screen, in the same way that as he…
Yeah, this story is nonsense. The screen is independent from critical driving functions. The hazards, turn signals, etc. all continue working, even with the screen totally off. You just don’t get any indication in the car that they are on. Even autopilot will continue to run without the screen. I’ve rebooted the…
