Weird. It’s almost like this was a series of movies that no one needed or really wanted, and that has been pretty fucking terrible, and people are taking that into account. 

I guarantee no normal people care what JK Rowling is saying on twitter. It’s just never been a very exciting series no matter how hard WB pushes it on people.

It can be two things, I think.

Many die hards don’t like them because they contradict canon or complicate it in ways. Like the last movie had a spell where you could literally see what happened in any give space before you arrived. Why wouldn’t Harry or his enemies have used that? 

If you actually wanted to do a young Dumbledore movie, it makes much more sense to set it between his childhood split with Grindelwald and the war with Grindelwald. Like, maybe tell us how Dumbledore actually became Dumbledore. Who mentored him? How did he learn the lessons he imparts on others?

JK Rowling’s statements have certainly made me fall out of love with Harry Potter. It’s not a case of actively boycotting it or anything like that, but it’s really just a whole lot less fun once you lose respect for the author. Yeah, this story is nonsense. The screen is independent from critical driving functions. The hazards, turn signals, etc. all continue working, even with the screen totally off.
