Agreed about confessions, and about the death penalty. I think she deserves another trial as well, given the circumstances. And it looks like without the confession, the murder conviction should be overturned, given witnesses seeing the daughter falling and expert testimony saying the head injury could have been

That is what I have never understood. Unless the plane was down for very heavy maintenance, it’s not like they had no warning. One turbofan out? I am sure that empty it could have taken off on the other 5.

I in the airfreight industry. I read in some industry paper a few years ago that the market could easily accommodate 10-12 AN225s.

The company can’t afford to rebuild it and has launched a crowdfunding campaign to see it happen. However, given the conditions of the country right now that money would probably be better spent on supporting the people.

hate to tell ya, but pretty much every single leader in every single industry is the leader because of IT and Software... alot of people dont fully understand what IT really is. it’s more than that person you call up every time you cant log in to your laptop. Information Technology (IT) is the backbone of what

Well let’s be real. Nearly every car has crap “software”  as in the nav/entertainment systems have been garbage compared to even a 9 year old iPhone. And with EV, so much is software based in the controllers. So yeah, they all need to be a LOT better. They don’t need to “be” software companies, but their sw

The AN-225's empty weight was significantly higher than the max takeoff weight for a C-17. Two totally different sizes for two completely missions. The C-17 is meant to be a small cargo jet that can get in and out of small, unimproved runways. The 225 was designed to get a crapton of weight into very long, paved

Are you sure about that? Venezuela leads the world in mass shootings, despite a total ban on civilian gun ownership, and of course Mexico is also a consistent leader in homicide despite some of the strictest gun control laws in the world. The problem with stuff like this is another word that starts with G,

I don’t think the two can be broken into separate categories as easily as you would make it sound. Street racing is a major part of any form of “takeover”, and there are probably dozens of street racing incidents along busy roads as people funnel to takeovers.

If you think no one is talking about the war in Ukraine, you must be living under a rock.

Not that anyone should care, but I was surprised how much what happened and the aftermath rubbed me the wrong way. It felt like a high school watching a bullying jock beat up a smaller kid, cheering him on, then going to a party at his house later like nothing happened. To say nothing of the insane level of

Sounds like something written for him by his agent’s assistant with the publicist on speakerphone, you don’t get to hit UNDO on a moronic outburst like that

Yeah. There are so many ways to stick up for someone or to let someone know their words aren’t appreciated. To choose violence as your method isn't right and counter productive.

Have they ever given a good reason as to why Call of Duty games are so god damned massive? Do they not compress anything? For what reason? Always been wild to me. It’s not like load times are significantly better between Call of Duty and smaller shooters either.

When the CX-50 was first revealed they did announce that there would be a PHEV variant, but gave no details or specific timing. I agree that it would have been better to launch with the PHEV available; but maybe there are still supply chain challenges affecting that. Some have theorized the CX-50 PHEV might use the

He’s 25 and has spent the first couple of years out of school in the COVID world so it’s not unreasonable. I say this as someone who loves to travel where it’s always hard for me to imagine how some people don’t want to.

I kind of have to believe part of this was somehow staged. Here we all are talking about the Oscars again after years of ringing the death toll for it. Both of them had huge grins on going in and out of the incident.

if they will give this the powertrain of the CX-60 plugin hybrid borrowed from the Toyota Rav-4 Prime then i will buy one

Any word from Mazda during the presentation or test-drive on the PHEV version?

I think we need a proper term for a back country/dusty road category. This vehicle seems to be perfectly kitted out for these kinds of adventures, plastic fenders, reasonable ride height. I do hope it has some good mud/dust protection on the underside of the engine bay though.
